A few weeks ago a friend recommended a cafe, which apparently serves the best coffee in Auckland. It’s called Good One. Good name, one may think, but in reality, the conversation goes something like this.
“Oh hey you, do you want to go and grab a cup of coffee?”
“Sure. Where do you have in mind?”
“How about Good One?”
“Yeah, I also want a good cup of coffee, but what is the name of the place?”
“Good One.”
“But seriously, what is it called?”
“Seriously, it’s called Good One, on Douglas Street in Ponsonby.”
“Oh ok ok then, let’s do it”.
So here is it. The Good One. I love going there on the weekends for a cup of long black. Great staff, excellent coffee, fresh flowers and just a good vibe. Their food is amazing too. Plus, these guys have a weird obsession with National Geographics magazines. They look great stacked up. 🙂 Ahh I can’t wait until next Sunday now!
